A Simple Guide To Stacking

With jewellery, sometimes more really is more – and we are here for it!

From adding interest to a neckline or injecting a little character into a wardrobe staple, mixing and matching your jewellery can totally change your look.

However, it can be difficult to decide just which pieces to wear to achieve the style you’re after…let us help you with our simple guide to stacking.

How To Stack

Rings

For instant impact, mix different textures or rings with vibrant colours to achieve a bold look.

When wearing more than one ring on one finger, choose silhouettes that flush against each other, such as rings with raised gemstones.

If you prefer to wear multiple rings across your hand, experiment with more statement pieces like wearing a show-stopping diamond alongside a traditional signet ring. Pile them high and enjoy the statement!

Earrings

Earring stacking has never gone out of fashion and it’s more popular now, than ever.

A good rule of thumb is to start with a hoop or drop earring, with the largest in your first earlobe piercing, and then work from there.

Styling asymmetrically can be fun – pair some of your earrings and not others. Bold and beautiful!

Necklaces

Three seems to be the magic number when it comes to necklace layering. The key is choosing the right lengths: start with an 18inch necklace as this will sit close to the collar bones and create a base.

Playing with different weights can bring your look up to date. Chunky chains are always on trend, but also adding a fine chain between two chunky chains can tone it down. Adding a different texture, such as a bright beaded chain, is great for adding fun and character.

Pendants add a new element to the stacking silhouette to keep the layer a bit more interesting.
